With the order book looking healthy and recent workshop improvements to meet an increase in demand of servicing and manufacturing, Christy Turner has recently expanded the Production Team with the appointment of Martin Johns.

Martin joined Christy Turner as a Welder/Fabricator in September and soon became part of the workshop team’s busy process.
Having an engineering background, Martin previously worked 11 years with Castlebroom Engineering, and now applies his welding and precision servicing skills to the varied work demanded in manufacturing, servicing and repairing roller mills, flaking mills, hammer mills and pulverizers. Away from the workshop, Martin is an avid Liverpool FC fan who takes part in coaching the local Stowmarket FC 16’s.

Bob Rudd, Christy Turner Production Manager is full of praise for the latest addition to the team:

"Martin has settled in with the company and has now become a valued member of the team” Bob tells us "His efforts have made a real improvement in the welding shop and he has also used his versatility in helping out in the fitting and machine shop.
